Anna W. Komorowski, M.D.

Hematologist Oncologist Rockland County | Dr. Anna W. Komorowski, M.D.Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Hematology, and the American Board of Oncology, Dr. Anna W. Komorowski is an experienced hematologist and medical oncologist. She is currently is in private practice at Hematology Oncology Associates of Rockland, P.C. where she provides patients with excellent care in Nyack, New York and surrounding areas.


Dr. Komorowski received her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Warsaw in Poland. She then completed Family Practice Internship at Central Clinical Hospital in Warsaw. While in Poland, Dr. Komorowski received many awards and distinctions, including the International Medical Students Association Elective Award and Scholarships for Academic Excellence in 1991, 1992, and 1993.


Dr. Komorowski traveled to New York to complete an Internal Medicine Residency at New York Medical College and Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center (OLMMC), becoming Chief Resident in 2002. Following her residency training, Dr. Komorowski joined a Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at OLMMC. During her time spent at New York Medical College, Dr. Komorowski received awards for Best Achievement and Leadership and for Dedication and Service as Chief Medical Resident.


In addition to her clinical success, Dr. Komorowski is dedicated to teaching and has served as an Instructor of Medicine at New York Medical College. She has also authored many publications on various topics in hematology, oncology, and other fields of medicine. Professional memberships of hers include the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
