Irina Rybalov, M.D.
Dr. Irina Rybalov in an experienced hematologist and medical oncologist committed to providing her patients with exceptional medical care. Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology, Dr. Rybalov is licensed to practice medicine in New York and New Jersey. She is currently in private practice at Hematology Oncology Associates of Rockland, P.C. in Nyack, New York.
Dr. Rybalov received her Doctor of Medicine at Russian State Medical University in Moscow, Russia where she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. During her education, Dr. Rybalov attended an international student exchange program at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. After receiving her medical degree, she worked as a Staff Physician at Botkin Teaching Hospital of Russian State Medical University.
Dr. Rybalov traveled to New Jersey to complete an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. Continuing her medical training, Dr. Rybalov joined a Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY and a fellowship in alogeneic bone marrow transplant service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. Dr. Rybalov is currently affiliated with Nyack Hospital in Nyack, NY and Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY.
Complementing her clinical success, Dr. Rybalov is also dedicated to teaching, accomplished in scientific research, and a published author. She is currently a Volunteer Teaching Attending at Montefiore Medical Center and an Assistant Clinical Professor at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein School of Medicine. Professional memberships of hers include the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Rybalov also currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Rockland County section of the American Cancer Society.
